MediaWiki recently started supporting WYSIWYG editing via JavaScript. For this to work, the Wiki server needs to be augmented by a web service called Parsoid that can convert back and forth between MediaWiki markup and HTML, implemented on top of node.js.

This Docker container expects the Wiki URL via the environment variable MW_URL and exposes the Parsoid service on port 8000. Example:
