NextCloud image with PHP-FPM using a unix socket instead of a TCP socket
588
This is basically the same image as the official NextCloud image, with one difference--instead of using TCP port 9000, php-fpm uses a unix socket at /sock/php-fpm.sock. This setup requires an Nginx proxy container that is also configured this way (and part of the same pod). Since the system users on each container differ ("www-data" and "nginx"), a secondary "php-fpm" group has been created with gid=3000, which should not conflict with existing groups. The socket's group ownership is "php-fpm" and therefore is accessible to both users.
