Business intelligence and data visualization for your data
1.4K
Private eazyBI is a self-hosted business intelligence and data visualization application. It integrates with Jira, Confluence and other business applications, as well as data from REST API, SQL, CSV or spreadsheet files.

This is the standard image, which connects to an external database. If you prefer an
image that bundles its own PostgreSQL database, use
eazybi/eazybi-private-allinone
instead.
latest — the most recent released version9.0, 9.0.0 — specific major.minor and full version tagsThe standard image requires an external database. PostgreSQL is the recommended and
default database; MySQL, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server are also supported (select the
database with the DATABASE_ADAPTER variable).
You can start the image without any DATABASE_* environment variables and provide all
database connection parameters later from the eazyBI database settings page:
docker run -d --name eazybi-private -p 8080:8080 \
-v eazybi_home:/var/eazybi_home \
eazybi/eazybi-private:latest
Alternatively, provide the database connection parameters during the initial startup.
They are written to config/database.toml in the eazybi_home volume:
docker run -d --name eazybi-private -p 8080:8080 \
-e DATABASE_HOST=your-db-host \
-e DATABASE_USERNAME=eazybi_private \
-e DATABASE_PASSWORD=secret \
-e USE_DWH_DATABASE=1 \
-v eazybi_home:/var/eazybi_home \
eazybi/eazybi-private:latest
Then access eazyBI at http://localhost:8080
USE_DWH_DATABASE=1 enables a separate data warehouse database (named <database>_dwh
by default). Other available variables are DATABASE_ADAPTER, DATABASE_PORT and
DATABASE_NAME for the main database, and DWH_DATABASE_NAME, DWH_DATABASE_ADAPTER,
DWH_DATABASE_HOST, DWH_DATABASE_PORT, DWH_DATABASE_USERNAME and
DWH_DATABASE_PASSWORD to override individual data warehouse connection parameters (they
default to the main database parameters).
These variables are read on startup and rewrite config/database.toml. Provide them only
when first creating the container; once the configuration is stored in the
/var/eazybi_home volume, recreate the container without them so your stored
config/database.toml is not overwritten.
The /var/eazybi_home volume persists configuration and data across container restarts.
