⁠h2load-http3

This Docker image provides a pre-built environment for using h2load, a benchmarking tool for HTTP/2 and HTTP/3. It is designed to facilitate performance testing of web servers supporting these protocols.

⁠Features

  • HTTP/2 Support: Use h2load to send requests using the HTTP/2 protocol.
  • HTTP/3 Support: Experimental support for sending requests using the HTTP/3 protocol (QUIC).

⁠Usage

⁠Running the Docker Container
  1. Pull the Image:
    docker pull eb613819/h2load-http3:latest
    
  2. Run the Container:
    docker run --network host eb613819/h2load-http3 -n <#requests> -c <#clients> --alpn-list <h2/h3> <Server_URL>
    
⁠Command Options
  • -n: Number of requests to perform (e.g., -n 1000).
  • -c: Number of concurrent clients to use (e.g., -c 10).
  • --alpn-list: Specifies the Application-Layer Protocol Negotiation (ALPN) protocol to use (e.g., --alpn-list h3 for HTTP/3).
⁠Example Commands

HTTP/2 Example:

docker run --network host eb613819/h2load-http3 -n 1000 -c 10 --alpn-list h2 https://example.com

HTTP/3 Example:

docker run --network host eb613819/h2load-http3 -n 1000 -c 10 --alpn-list h3 https://example.com
