Mirrors restic⁠ repositories to Proton Drive using the official Proton Drive CLI⁠. Uploads start shortly after the repository changes, idle checks make no API calls, and nothing is ever deleted from the Drive.

services:
  protondrive:

    container_name: proton-drive-backup
    restart: unless-stopped
    environment:

      TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN: ${TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN}
      TELEGRAM_CHAT_ID: ${TELEGRAM_CHAT_ID}
    volumes:
      - ./config:/config
      - /path/to/restic-repo-parent:/backup:ro

Authenticate once, then start:

docker compose run --rm protondrive proton-drive auth login
docker compose up -d

The session is stored encrypted in /config with a local GPG key generated on first start.
