For any installation, volume mounting is mandatory to ensure your sessions persist across restarts.

⁠1. Run the Gateway (Free Mode)

Open your terminal and run:

Linux / macOS (Bash):

docker run -d --name wagate \
  -p 3000:3000 \
  -v $(pwd)/data:/app/data \
  -e API_KEY=your-secret-key \
  -e WEBHOOK_URL=https://your-webhook.com \
  elefgo/wagate:latest

Windows PowerShell:

docker run -d --name wagate `
  -p 3000:3000 `
  -v ${PWD}/data:/app/data `

⁠2. Access the Dashboard

Navigate to http://localhost:3000 and login with your API_KEY.

⁠3. Install in n8n (Optional)

1. Go to Settings > Community Nodes in n8n.
2. Click Install a community node.
3. Path: n8n-nodes-whatsapp-gateway.
4. Add the credentials using your Gateway's Base URL and API Key.

To apply your license, simply restart your container with the LICENSE_KEY variable:
