Elixir Ambience is a software development platform written in Scala that runs on the JVM.

The system consists of a kernel with over seventy modules implementing a wide variety of functions, including:

• Low-level services such as Authentication (OAuth2), Secret Management, Internationalisation and Scheduling.

• High level services such as Dashboards, ETL, Reporting, Content Management and Workflow.

Ambience has tight integration with MongoDB, using it to store system artifacts such as users, dashboards and reports, as well as integrating via ETL to use aggregation pipelines, to ensure efficient data handling. However, Ambience doesn't stop there. It also includes interfaces to JDBC, MQTT and many others.
