⁠Elasticsearch Exporter Agent

This Docker image combines multiple services into a single container to facilitate monitoring of Elasticsearch instances. It includes the Elasticsearch Exporter for exporting Elasticsearch metrics to Prometheus and PushProx for proxying metrics to a central monitoring system. The container is managed by Supervisor, ensuring that both services run concurrently.

⁠Components:

1. Utilizes the latest Ubuntu image as the base;
2. Elasticsearch Exporter version 1.7.0;
3. PushProx version 0.1.0;
4. Supervisord;

⁠Exposed Ports:

• Exposes port 8080/tcp for accessing the services within the container.

⁠Startup Command:

• Initiates the startup script run_exporter.sh, which sets up environment variables and starts Supervisor.

⁠Files:

1. Dockerfile: Defines the image build instructions.
2. run_exporter.sh: Startup script for setting up environment and initiating services.
3. supervisord.conf: Configuration file for Supervisor to manage services.

⁠Notes:

• Ensure necessary environment variables like ELASTIC_URL, PROXY_IP, and TOKEN are set appropriately for proper functioning.
• The container should be deployed in an environment where it can access the Elasticsearch instance and the central monitoring system.
• Monitoring instance initialization and Grafana setup are integrated into the startup script for convenience. This Docker image provides an all-in-one solution for monitoring Elasticsearch instances efficiently and conveniently.
