Windows doesn't really come with a standard package manager, which is kind of an important piece to have for to manage install dependencies in containers. This image is meant to remedy this by installing Scoop⁠ on top of a the base Windows Server Core image so that a package manager is ready to go.

This blog post⁠ is a quick rundown of some of the issues we also have with Chocolatey, and why Scoop is superior for the use case of containers.
