⁠Web Terminal

Utility to run in clusters of Embrapa I/O⁠ platform for integrate Web Terminal to access applications containers running in it.

⁠Docker Compose

To use this tool in a server with Docker Compose orchestrator, do:

docker run --name terminal \
  -v /etc/letsencrypt/live/[cluster.cnpxx.embrapa.br]/fullchain.pem:/ssl/server.crt:ro \
  -v /etc/letsencrypt/live/[cluster.cnpxx.embrapa.br]/privkey.pem:/ssl/server.key:ro \
  -v /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock:ro \
  -p 65500:5000 \
  --restart unless-stopped -d \
  embrapa/terminal

Verify if it's all done without errors: docker logs -f terminal.

To stop and remove:

docker stop terminal && docker rm terminal

To upgrade to latest version, stop and remove service, update image and re-create service:

docker stop terminal && docker rm terminal

docker pull embrapa/terminal

And create again (use docker run command above).

⁠Docker Swarm

To use this tool in a server with Docker Swarm orchestrator, do:

docker service create --name terminal \
  --mode=global \
  --mount=type=bind,src=/etc/letsencrypt/live/[cluster.cnpxx.embrapa.br]/fullchain.pem,dst=/ssl/server.crt,readonly \
  --mount=type=bind,src=/etc/letsencrypt/live/[cluster.cnpxx.embrapa.br]/privkey.pem,dst=/ssl/server.key,readonly \
  --mount=type=bind,src=/var/run/docker.sock,dst=/var/run/docker.sock,readonly \
  --publish published=65500,target=5000 \
  embrapa/terminal

Verify if it's all done without errors: docker service logs -f terminal.

To stop and remove:

docker service rm terminal

To upgrade to latest version, remove service, update image and re-create service:

docker service rm terminal

docker pull embrapa/terminal

And create again (use docker service create command above).
