CentOS 7 image with Ansible 2.9 and Python 3.6 for infrastructure automation, configuration management, and application deployment.

⁠Quick Start

docker pull energonhq/ansible:latest
docker run --rm -it energonhq/ansible:latest ansible --version
docker run --rm -v $(pwd):/ansible -w /ansible energonhq/ansible:latest ansible-playbook -i inventory.yml playbook.yml

⁠Features

  • Ansible 2.9 for automation and orchestration
  • Python 3.6.8 with pip for additional module installation
  • EPEL repository enabled for extended package availability
  • UTF-8 locale support (en_US.UTF-8)
  • SSH client for remote host management

Note: CentOS 7 has reached EOL. Consider migrating to a newer base for new projects.
