⁠jBoard

jBoard is a web application for online lessons management developed as an academic project using Vue, Java and Java Servlets. It is designed to support admin users, who can add new teachers, courses and then lessons, and regular users, who can book lessons.
This Docker image contains the application (back + font end) running on Linux using the OpenJDK version 16 and TomCat 9.

⁠Using the container

You can run your own instance of the application using the following command:

docker run -p 8080:8080 -v [path/to/config/directory]:/usr/local/tomcat/config --name jboard enricosola/jboard:latest

You can change the port you can connect to the application from by setting a different value for the -p parameter (-p [CUSTOM PORT]:8080).
Don't forget to set the path to the directory containing the config.json configuration file, for more information about the configuration file refer to the project's repository on GitHub⁠.

⁠User management commands

Containers produced from this Docker image provide the following commands for user management:

• Add a new user: docker exec -it [CONTAINER NAME] jboard-useradd
• Delete a user: docker exec -it [CONTAINER NAME] jboard-userdel
• List all the registered users: docker exec -it [CONTAINER NAME] jboard-userlist
• Change a user password: docker exec -it [CONTAINER NAME] jboard-change-user-password
