Simple ubuntu image with awscli installed. Useful for CI/CD pipelines using awscli.
7.9K
This image is based on ubuntu latest image and installs awscli with no other dependencies. The image is built daily.
This image is useful in situations when your CI/CD pipeline (e.g. bitbucket pipelines) requires using aws cli, and has a built-in support for environmental variables.
Given you have AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY, AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID and AWS_DEFAULT_REGION exported as environmental variables, you can run the image by passing them along to the container.
docker run -i -e AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID=${AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID} -e AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY=${AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY} -e AWS_DEFAULT_REGION=${AWS_DEFAULT_REGION} -t envimate/awscli
curl -O https://bitbucket.org/envimate/dockerfiles/raw/master/aws-cli/docker-compose.yml
docker-compose run awscli
