⁠Ergomentum Build HAProxy

HAProxy is not able to log to stdout⁠ by default. Using a log daemon⁠ will violate the Docker recommendation "run only one process per container"^[1]⁠ and may cause the zombie reaping problem⁠. Patching⁠ the HAProxy RPM we can use the configuration log /dev/stdout local0. This will rebuild a patched version of HAProxy RPM.

/home/mockbuild/rpmbuild/RPMS

The resulting RPM will be written to.

⁠Usage

Use this image to run a temporary container.

Build the RPM:

docker \
  run \
  --rm \
  -v "${PWD}:/target" \
  ergomentum/build-haproxy-rpm
