⁠Evolved Combat

This is the official Docker server image for the Minecraft Modpack Evolved Combat.

For more information about the Modpack generally, please visit the Technicpack Page⁠.

⁠Image Usage

Simply pull the image with

# docker pull evolvedpacks/evt

Before you start the server, you need to create your directory where you want to have your mounted files form the server and you need to create the files which are bound directly to the container. Otherwise, you will get an error on start up because Docker creates directories instead of files which then are falsely bound to the files inside the container.

assuming your server location will be /var/evc

# mkdir /var/evc
# touch /var/evc/{ops.json,server.properties,whitelist.json}

Then, start the server with following parameters bound:

# docker run \
    --name evc \
    -p 25565:25565 \
    -p 25575:25575 \
    -v /var/evc/world:/var/server/world \
    -v /var/evc/backups:/var/server/backups \
    -v /var/evc/ops.json:/var/server/ops.json \
    -v /var/evc/server.properties:/var/server/server.properties \
    -v /var/evc/whitelist.json:/var/server/whitelist.json

⁠docker-compose

You will also need to create the files in the mount directory like described above.

Of course, you can also use docker-compose. The compose.yml could then look like following example:

version: '3'

services:
  evc:
    image: 'zekro/evc:latest'
    environment:
      - 'XMS=1G'
      - 'XMX=3G'
    ports:
      - '6688:25565'
      - '6699:25575'
    volumes:
      - '/var/evc/world:/var/server/world'
      - '/var/evc/data/backups:/var/server/backups'
      - '/var/evc/data/ops.json:/var/server/ops.json'
      - '/var/evc/data/server.properties:/var/server/server.properties'
      - '/var/evc/data/whitelist.json:/var/server/whitelist.json'
    restart: on-failure
