The Simple Cache App is a lightweight Java-based console application that demonstrates how WeakHashMap can be used to build memory-efficient caches. It provides a terminal-based interface to add, retrieve, and manage cache entries while observing how Java garbage collection behaves with weak references.

To run the image: docker run -it --rm evrentan/simple-cache-app

You can also pass optional arguments:

• --ttl – Set cache Time-To-Live in milliseconds (default: 60000)

• --nogc – Disable explicit System.gc() calls

• --nodebug – Run without debug logs
