It's intended to be extended so you can add your custom configurations. \n\nIf you don't want to extend this image and you just want to try jBPM Workbench take a look at the `exoldy/jbpm-workbench-showcase:latest` Docker image, it contains some default configurations. \n\nUsage\n-----\n\nTo run a container:\n \n docker run -p 8080:8080 -p 8001:8001 -p 9990:9990 -d --name jbpm-workbench exoldy/jbpm-workbench:latest\n\nOnce container and web applications started, you can navigate into the jBPM Workbench at:\n\n http://localhost:8080/jbpm-console\n\nUsers and roles\n----------------\n\nThe application have no users or roles configured, so you cannot not access it by default, \n\nIn order to use it, at least you have to create an application user in JBoss Wildfly with role `admin`. \n\nIf you are looking for a jBPM Workbench image that does not require to add custom configurations, try our `exoldy/jbpm-workbench-showcase:latest` Docker image.\n\nIf you want to create your custom configuration and users, role, etc, you can take a look at section `Extending this image` \n\n\nLogging\n-------\n\nYou can see all logs generated by the `standalone` binary running:\n\n docker logs [-f] \n \nYou can attach the container by running:\n\n docker attach \n\nThe jBPM Workbench web application logs can be found inside the container at path:\n\n /opt/jboss/wildfly/standalone/log/server.log\n\n Example:\n sudo nsenter -t $(docker inspect --format '{{ .State.Pid }}' $(docker ps -lq)) -m -u -i -n -p -w\n -bash-4.2# tail -f /opt/jboss/wildfly/standalone/log/server.log\n\nGIT internal repository\n-----------------------\n\nThe workbench stores all the project artifacts in an internal GIT repository. By default, the protocol available for accessing the GIT repository is `SSH` at port `8001`. \n\nYou can clone the GIT repository by running: \n\n git clone ssh://admin@localhost:8001/system\n\nBy default, the GIT repository is created when the application starts for first time at `$WORKING_DIR/.niogit`, considering `$WORKING_DIR` as the current directory where the application server is started. \n\nYou can specify a custom repository location by setting the following Java system property to your target file system directory: \n \n -Dorg.uberfire.nio.git.dir=/home/youruser/some/path\n\nNOTE: This directory can be shared with your docker host and with another containers using shared volumes when running the container, if you need so. \n\nIf necessary you can make GIT repositories available from outside localhost using the following Java system property: \n \n -org.uberfire.nio.git.ssh.host=0.0.0.0\n \nYou can set this Java system properties permanent by adding the following lines in your `standalone-full.xml` file as: \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \nNOTE: Users and password for ssh access are the same that for the web application users defined at the realm files. \n\nExtending this image\n--------------------\n\nYou can extend this image and add your custom layers in order to add custom configurations, users, roles, etc. \n \nIn order to extend this image, your Dockerfile must inherit from:\n\n FROM jboss/jbpm-workbench:latest\n \n**Configuring Wildfly**\n\n* The Wildfly configuration files are located at `/opt/jboss/wildfly/standalone/configuration` \n* In this file you can modify all Wildfly's subsystem configurations \n* jBPM Workbench requires running Wildfly using `full` profile, so custom modifications should be done in `standalone-full.xml` configuration file \n\n**Users and roles**\n\n* By default this image does not provide users and roles for jBPM Workbench \n\n* The available roles for jBPM Workbench examples are: \n\n ROLE DESCRIPTION\n *************************************************\n admin The administrator\n analyst The analyst\n developer The developer\n manager The manager\n user The end user\n kiemgmt KIE management user\n Accounting Accounting role\n PM Project manager role\n HR Human resources role\n sales Sales role\n IT IT role\n\nThese are the steps to create your custom users and roles by using realm files in Widlfly: \n\n1.- Create a realm properties file for users and deploy it in `/opt/jboss/wildfly/standalone/configuration`: \n \n jbpm-users.properties\n ---------------------\n admin=admin\n analyst=analyst\n developer=developer\n manager=manager\n user=user\n \n2.- Create a realm properties file for roles and deploy it in `/opt/jboss/wildfly/standalone/configuration`: \n \n jbpm-roles.properties\n ---------------------\n admin=admin\n analyst=analyst\n developer=developer\n manager=manager\n user=user\n\n3.- Modify your `standalone-full.xml` in order to: \n \n3.1 - In the `management` section, modify default the security-realm for the `ApplicationRealm` as: \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n3.2 - In the `security` subsystem, modify default the `other` security-domain for as: \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\nYou can find an example by looking at the Dockerfile for `jboss/jbpm-workbench-showcase:latest` image.\n\nExperimenting\n-------------\n\nTo spin up a shell in one of the containers try:\n\n docker run -t -i -p 8080:8080 -p 8001:8001 exoldy/jbpm-workbench:latest /bin/bash\n\nYou can then noodle around the container and run stuff & look at files etc.\n\nNotes\n-----\n\n* The context path for jBPM Workbench web application is `jbpm-console` and the context path for jBPM Dashbuilder web application is `dashbuilder` \n* jBPM Workbench version is `6.4.0.Final`\n* jBPM Workbench requires running JBoss Wildfly using the `full` server profile\n* Examples and demos disabled by default (no internet connection required at startup) \n* No users or roles are configured by default \n* No support for clustering \n* Use of embedded H2 database server by default \n* No support for Wildfly domain mode, just standalone mode \n* This image is not intended to be run on cloud environments such as RedHat OpenShift or Amazon EC2, as it does not meet all the requirements. \n* Please give us your feedback or report a issue at [Drools Setup](https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/drools-setup) or [Drools Usage](https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/drools-usage) Google groups. \n\nRelease notes\n--------------\n\n**6.5.0.Final**\n\n* Use Wildfly `10.1.0.Final` \n* Upgrade app to version `latest` = (6.5.0.Final) \n* Disabled examples (no internet connection required at startup) \n* Added `KIE_DEMO` environment variable to disable examples and demos if host do not have internet connection \n* Added missing initial artifact `org.guvnor:guvnor-asset-mgmt-project:6.5.0.Final:jar` into the M2 repository.
