⁠docker-registry-nginx

expert360/registry⁠ is a proxy designed to run a dual V1 and V2 Docker Registry.

⁠Basic Auth

Basic auth is required for all end points.

You will need to create a new htpasswd file, but do not use bcrypt⁠:

htpasswd -bc registry.htpasswd USERNAME PASSWORD

And volume it like:

-v $(pwd)/registry.htpasswd:/etc/nginx/htpasswd/registry.htpasswd

⁠Registry container links

A V1 and V2 container should be linked to this container with aliases registryv1 and registryv2 respectively.

⁠Running

Ensure you map your password file and publish port 5000 when running the container:

docker run -p 5000:5000 \
    -v $(pwd)/registry.htpasswd:/etc/nginx/htpasswd/registry.htpasswd \
    --link registryv1:registryv1 \
    --link registryv2:registryv2 \
    expert360/registry
