This image contains a Retype installation from Microsoft's ASP.NET Core base image⁠. It contains basically the contents of the Retype's NuGet Tool⁠ and a simple wrapper script to call Retype CLI command retype.

⁠How to use this image

This image contains a bare Retype installation which should allow to extend its usability in various forms, be it for documentation development or hosting.

⁠retype watch

To run retype watch over a local Retype project using this image, change to the project's directory and run:

docker run -it -p 5000:5000 -v "${PWD}":/retype retypeapp/retype retype watch

⁠Try in PWD

Try this in play-with-docker to start a Retype Watch session of the Retype website⁠ using this image:

git clone https://github.com/retypeapp/retype
cd retype
docker run -it -p 5000:5000 -v "${PWD}":/retype retypeapp/retype
retype watch

Hint: Copy the commands above, open PWD, start an instance then paste with shift+insert, wait the commands to finish then click the "5000" link next to the Open Port button on the top of the page.

⁠Host a Retype website

To host a Retype built website using the lighttpd server, a custom image can be built using this Dockerfile:
