⁠Background

I tried to run the following theano image with gtx 1080:

Unfortunately, faced two errors:

1. ERROR (theano.sandbox.cuda): ERROR: Not using GPU. Initialisation of device gpu failed: initCnmem: cnmemInit call failed! Reason=CNMEM_STATUS_OUT_OF_MEMORY. numdev=1

2. nvcc fatal : Value 'sm_61' is not defined for option 'gpu-architecture'

Error 1 can be solved by specify CNMEM=0.8 in the .theanorc Error 2 can be solved by cuda-8.0 install based on:

Now, it works like a charm.
