⁠SIXTE Docker Environment – Quick Start Guide

This is a Docker image pre-configured with:

• HEASoft (v6.31.1)

• SIXTE (v3.4.0) and SIMPUT (v2.8.0)

• Pre-installed instrument files for:

  * Athena WFI (v1.11.4) & X-IFU (04-26)
  * XRISM (v1.2.0)
  * SRG (v1.9.2)
  * AXIS (v3.1.1)
  

  Copy

WARNING: Be aware of the software and file versions listed above, the container contents will not update automatically while using the downloaded image. Make sure to use the latest Docker image to keep up with updates.

⁠Key Folder Paths

/home/heasoft/ --> Installed HEASoft binaries and libraries

/opt/sixte-src/sixte/ --> SIXTE source folder

/opt/simput-src/simput/ --> SIMPUT source installation

/home/sixte/sixte/ --> SIXTE build

/home/sixte/simput/ --> SIMPUT build

/home/sixte/sixte/share/sixte/instruments/ --> Instrument files

/home/simulator_manual.pdf --> SIXTE Manual

/home/pfiles/ --> PFILES
