⁠Ruby Hello World Project

This is a simple "Hello World" Ruby application to demonstrate the basics of Ruby programming and containerization using Docker. The project aims to show how Ruby can be executed in a containerized environment, making it easy to run and share across different systems.

In this project, we used Ruby to print "Hello World" to the console. We also created a Dockerfile to containerize the application, ensuring that it runs smoothly in different environments without any additional setup.

⁠Pull and Run the Docker Image Locally

Follow these steps to pull the Docker image from Docker Hub and run it on your local machine:

⁠Step 1: Pull the Image

To download the image from Docker Hub, run:

docker pull fernando785/rubyproject

⁠Step 2: Run the Image

Once the image is pulled, you can run it locally and map it to port 4567:

docker run -p 4567:4567 fernando785/rubyproject

⁠Step 3: Run the app

Just go to localhost in the port 4567 with this link

http://localhost:4567

Make sure that your application is set up to listen on port 4567 within the container to ensure it responds correctly on this port.
