docker pull ffuhrnew/tailsharer:1.13 dont use older versions - they all are buggy!

Please be very careful with this image and this Dockerfile. The Username and Password is: ubuntu This User gets sudo privileges and the ability to login via ssh! You can - and should change this password. You can change the ssh-login to PubKey via docker-compose.yml. Also a Samba-Server is started with configurable shares via docker-compose.yml. You need an pre-authenticated Key from TailScale to obtain a valid Ip-Address within the TailScale-Network. This is just a rough File with no elegance. Feel free to make it better. I used part of the code from a 4 year old project from:

After the container is started i strongly recommend to change the password of the ubuntu user. Restrict ssh access via PubKey. You have nano on board. Change it to Your needs! To stop, start smb, ssh etc. don't use systemctl but service ... start/stop If you really want priviledged access via Samba you shall change the Samba-Password of a user You like. Get a terminal to the container and .... Do what thou wilt! root@tailsharer:/# smbpasswd -a USERNAME
