⁠Repository

This repository contains spack base containers that can be used to create a base image where spack is used as package manager (it is hosted at https://github.com/finkandreas/ci_base_containers⁠)

⁠Structure

The tags are structured as following:

• SPACK_VERSION: e.g. 0.19.0, the work base is used to refer to the base image that was used to create the spack container (the base version should be used when creating a multi-stage build)
• CUDA_VERSION: e.g. cuda11.7.1, refers to the version numbering from nvidia/cuda-$VERSION-devel-$OS. If it is missing, then it is not based on a cuda container and does not contain any cuda version
• OS: e.g. ubuntu22.04, refers to the operating system

Example tags:

• 0.19.0-cuda11.7.1-ubuntu22.04, spack version 0.19.0, cuda development version 11.7.1 and operating system ubuntu22.04
• base-cuda11.7.1-ubuntu22.04, base container with all cuda runtime libraries version 11.7.1 and operating system ubuntu22.04
