flobinsa/mapproxy repository overview

Mapproxy docker image

What is mapproxy ?

Mapproxy is an open source proxy for geospatial data. It caches, accelerates and transforms data from existing map services.

About the image

This is an non-root image that starts a mapproxy application and exposes port 9090.

Quick start
docker run --name mapproxy -e QGIS_URL=http://localhost/ows/?MAP=/data/romania.qgs \
                    -v $(pwd)/mapproxy.yaml:/opt/mapproxy/maproxy.yaml \
                    -v $(pwd)/cache-data/:/opt/mapproxy/cache-dir \
                    -p 9090:9090 flobinsa/mapproxy

Note 1: You need to change ownership for cache-data to uid 1000.

Note 2: You need to have a running WMS service.
