⁠Flow Steward — Application runtime

Flow Steward is a self-hosted AI workflow automation platform with a visual workflow builder, human approvals, execution history and extensions.

⁠About this image

flowsteward/flow-steward-app provides the web application and API runtime for the Scalable deployment profile. It serves the platform interface and application endpoints while workflow workers, the control plane and MCP run as separate services.

⁠Installation

Use the official installer and Compose configuration to set up the complete installation, including persistent storage, PostgreSQL, the message broker, ingress and authentication. Select the Scalable profile in the installation guide. For a combined runtime, see flow-steward-compact⁠.

Core ships without bundled extensions; install integrations from the in-product Extensions Marketplace. Check the Tags tab for available versions and platforms, and use compatible versions across all services.
