Flow Steward is a self-hosted AI workflow automation platform with visual workflows, extensions, human approvals and execution history.

⁠About this image

flowsteward/flow-steward-control provides background control-plane services for the Scalable deployment profile, including scheduled job dispatch, retention and maintenance tasks, and dashboard rollups. It runs alongside the application and workflow workers.

⁠Installation

Deploy this image as part of the complete platform using the official installer and Compose configuration. Use the matching application, worker and MCP images and the configured database, message broker and persistent storage. Follow the Scalable installation guide below.

For a combined runtime that includes the control-plane role, see flow-steward-compact⁠. Check the Tags tab for available versions and platforms, and keep service versions compatible.
