⁠Example Rails app installation on your Raspberry Pi

A vanilla Rails app is located at https://github.com/floze/rails-on-raspbian⁠

• install Docker with curl -sSL https://get.docker.com | sh if you haven't already

• run git clone https://github.com/floze/rails-on-raspbian.git to pull the git repository

• run docker build rails-on-raspbian -t rails-on-raspbian to build the Docker image

• run docker run -e PASSENGER_APP_ENV=development -p 8080:80 -d rails-on-raspbian to start a container in development mode with its port 80 forwarded to your Raspberry Pi's port 8080

• check if http://raspberrypi:8080/⁠ shows the Rails welcome-screen
