Generate a localhost certificate for development usage only.

⁠Getting Started

  1. Create a new directory with this files:
  • root.csr.cnf
[req]
default_bits = 2048
prompt = no
default_md = sha256
distinguished_name = dn

[dn]
C=BR
ST=Sao-Paulo
L=Sao-Paulo
O=ORG
OU=OU
emailAddress=yourmail
CN = cn
  • server.csr.cnf
[req]
default_bits = 2048
prompt = no
default_md = sha256
distinguished_name = dn

[dn]

ST=Sao-Paulo
L=Sao-Paulo
O=ORG
OU=OU
emailAddress=yourmail
CN = cn
  • v3.ext
authorityKeyIdentifier=keyid,issuer
basicConstraints=CA:FALSE
keyUsage = digitalSignature, nonRepudiation, keyEncipherment, dataEncipherment
subjectAltName = @alt_names

[alt_names]
DNS.1 = localhost

  1. Then run this command: docker run -it -v ${your_dir_path}:/req fminetto/sslgenerator

  2. Follow the instructions.

  3. Your certs will be on certs directory.
