⁠Machine Learning I Lab

These images contain all necessary packages for machine learning 1 at HAW Landshut and host a jupyterlab server.

There are different versions available:

• CPU: Will only use CPU for calculations
• GPU: Supports Nvidia Graphic Cards with cuda

To use them pull the desired image with docker pull forsterseb/ml1_lab:<cpu/gpu>-<VERSION/latest>.

For the intial start of the images use following commands:
For cpu version:

docker run -it -p 8888:8888 -v ~/Dokumente/:/opt/notebooks --name ml1_cpu informatiklandshut/ml1_lab:cpu-latest

For gpu version:

docker run --gpus all -it \
    --shm-size=1g --ulimit memlock=-1 \
    -p 8888:8888 -p 8787:8787 -p 8786:8786 \
    -v ~/Dokumente/:/rapids/notebooks/host \
    --name ml1_gpu informatiklandshut/ml1_lab:gpu-latest

To stop a container use ctrl+c.
To restart a container simly use docker start ml1_<cpu/gpu>.
