fortinetsolutioncse/pandoc-wp repository overview

pandoc-wp

This image can be used for document conversion with pandoc. It includes WeasyPrint, which makes it suitable for conversion to PDF with --pdf-engine weasyprint (via HTML as an interim format).

It is based on the official pandoc core image (https://hub.docker.com/r/pandoc/core) with the latest available version of WeasyPrint and libraries used by it (https://weasyprint.readthedocs.io/en/latest/install.html).

The entry point of the official pandoc core image is preserved, hence the usage instructions are the same, e.g.:

docker run \
   --rm \
   --volume "$your_work_dir:/data" \
   --user $(id -u):$(id -g) \
   fortinetsolutioncse/pandoc-wp $input $any-pandoc-arguments"

filters

The latest version of the image includes also python3, together with the two common frameworks used for pandoc filter development: panflute and pandocfilters. This means that you can dynamically mount pandoc filters written in python.

To apply a filter, simply put it in your work directory and then pass an argument --filter myfilter.py to the end of the above command (together with any other pandoc arguments that you may want to pass).

The following filters are already pre-packaged with the latest version of the image (so that you can include them simply with --filter <filtername>, without the need to provide their source files):
