fwaggle/collectd repository overview

Minimal collectd container for my own uses - I shoot SNMP packets at it, RRDs fall out. This is only public because I needed a private repo for something else, but if it works for you, enjoy!

It includes these collectd modules:

- collectd-snmp
- collectd-rrdtool
- collectd-sensors
- collectd-network
- collectd-curl
- collectd-mqtt

No configuration file provided, it expects /etc/collectd to be a volume. Also expects /var/lib/collectd/rrd to be one as well, so my databases don't disappear when the container does.

Finally, it will accept the COLLECTD_HOSTNAME environment variable, and if it is set, will drop a configuration file in /etc/collectd.d/hostname.conf containing a Hostname setting with the contents of this variable. The file does not exist if this variable is not set. The user is expected to Include that configuration file themselves in their own configuration.
