A lightweight Docker image for pioasm, the Raspberry Pi Pico PIO assembler.
68
This Docker image provides a containerized environment for pioasm, the Raspberry Pi Pico PIO (Programmable I/O) assembler. It allows you to compile PIO source files (.pio) into C/C++ or Python headers without needing to install the full Raspberry Pi Pico SDK or CMake on your local machine.
Lightweight: Contains only the necessary binaries and dependencies to run pioasm.
SDK Independent: Build your PIO headers in a consistent environment regardless of your host OS.
CI/CD Ready: Easily integrate PIO assembly into automated GitHub Actions or GitLab CI pipelines.
To assemble a file, run the following command in your terminal (replaces $(pwd) with your current directory):
Bash
docker run --rm -v "$(pwd)":/data fyfar/pioasm:2.2.0 /data/hello.pio /data/hello.pio.h
