⁠PDF Architect

A powerful containerized tool for creating, manipulating, and managing PDF documents with precision and ease.

⁠Quick Start

# Pull the latest image
docker pull fytek/pdfarchitect:latest

# Run the container in server mode
docker run -p 5000:5000 fytek/pdfarchitect:latest -server

# Test the server
curl http://localhost:5000/health

⁠Usage

⁠Basic Setup

1. Pull the Docker image
2. Run the container with port mapping (-p 5000:5000)
3. The server starts automatically and listens on port 5000
4. Access the web-based template designer via pdf_architect_client.html

⁠Container Options

Run in background:

docker run -d -p 5000:5000 fytek/pdfarchitect:latest -server

Custom port mapping:

docker run -p 8080:5000 fytek/pdfarchitect:latest -server

⁠API Endpoints

Once running, the server provides these REST API endpoints:

⁠Template Design

Use the pdf_architect_client.html file (download from https://www.fytek.com/pdfarchitect⁠) in your web browser to:

• Design PDF templates visually
• Test templates before integration
• Prototype layouts and data binding

# Health check

# Process a PDF synchronously

⁠Requirements

• Docker installed on your Linux system
• Available port for the service (default: 5000)
