Dockerized setup for VTENext CE, the open-source CRM/ERP platform. Spin up a fully working local instance in minutes, no manual PHP or MySQL configuration needed.
Stack: PHP 7.4 + Apache · MySQL 8.0 · phpMyAdmin (optional)

cd vtenext
cp .env.example .env
docker compose up -d --build
Open http://localhost:8080/install.php and follow the installation wizard.
The DB settings are pre-configured automatically — just click through the wizard.
Default credentials (set in .env):
admin / admindb · DB name: vtenext · DB user: vtenextChange the admin password immediately after first login.
This image includes two patches applied automatically at build/startup:
utils.php: fixes check_db_utf8_support() called as global function instead of static methodconfig.db.php: written from environment variables at container startup, so the wizard finds the DB settings pre-filleddocker compose --profile tools up -d
