gangstead/postgis repository overview

I wasn't able to run postgis/postgis on my new M1 macbook on the Docker for Mac Apple M1 Preview. It seemed like I was having this problem: https://github.com/docker/for-mac/issues/5122⁠ and one of the commenters said it works when building so I cloned the postgis repo, built and pushed to docker hub.

docker build . -t gangstead/postgis:13-3.1-arm

docker push gangstead/postgis:13-3.1-arm

Then you can run with:

➜  web  docker run  --name postgis -p 5432:5432 -e POSTGRES_PASSWORD=postgres -e POSTGRES_USER=postgres -d gangstead/postgis:13-3.1-arm
