⁠Running the docker container

docker run --privileged -e INFLUX_DB_NAME='db name' -e MEASUREMENT_TYPE='eg. study' -e MEASUREMENT_USER='pi0_study' -e PASS_FREQUENCY_RETRY='10' -e FAIL_FREQUENCY_RETRY='10' -d gaspesberger69/tempsensor:TAG

• --privileged is required to be able to use the gpio pins

⁠Measurements

3 measurements will be sent to influxdb

• celcius
• fahrenheit
• humidity

all the data is sent with time as UCT.

• arm32v6 | Raspberry Pi 0 compatible
• arm32v7 | Raspberry Pi 2/3 a/b/b+ compatible

⁠All the environmental variables

⁠Influx db information

• INFLUX_DB_HOST | host where the db lives

• INFLUX_DB_PORT | Default = 8086

• INFLUX_DB_NAME | Default = mydb

• MEASUREMENT_TYPE| Default = test

• MEASUREMENT_USER | Default = test

⁠time in seconds before taking a measurement again

• PASS_FREQUENCY_RETRY | Default = 30
• FAIL_FREQUENCY_RETRY | Default = 2

⁠Pin used on the raspberry pi

• DHT_PIN | Default = 4
