⁠Eponym

The name ERPione is a combination of ERP (short for e-prescription) and the Greek goddess Epione. As the goddess of pain relief and the mother of Hygieia, the patron saint of pharmacists, she is an ideal namesake.

⁠Context

The ERPione⁠ is a CLI client is intended to ease the pain of testing the German e-prescription. While the PrimSys-REST-Service can be accessed via cURL, ERPione provides some handy abstractions that make life a lot easier.

⁠Authorization

The PrimSys-REST-Service is available over the public internet, so no VPN or Konnektor is required. However, the service itself is protected by API keys. If you are interested in using the service and ERPione, please contact us.

If you already have an API key, you can simply enter it at the start of ERPione via --env e.g. docker run --name erpione --env ERPIONE_API_KEY=$ERPIONE_API_KEY -dt gematik1/erpione

⁠Usage

In general, ERPione ships the help right out of the box. Just use erpione --help or for a specific subcommand e.g. erpione prescribe --help.
