geosolutionsit/gs-logging-init repository overview

This container is desgned to be used as init container for GeoServer datadir, allowing to override the current logging level to the one we set on environment variables and patching the logging.xml file before GeoServer start to run. This is useful on production GeoServer instances to make sure it always start with the right logging level.

You need to set the environment variables:

• DATADIR_PATH: the path to the datadir root folder (mounted as volume)
• LOGGING_LEVEL: the logging level to be set. Example: PRODUCTION_LOGGING
