download the publishsettings file and save it to home/azureuser/azure

docker run -t -i -d --name azure -p 3000:3000 -v /home/azureuser/azure/:/home/azure getting2vinod/azure:latest /bin/bash

Attach to the container and import the publish settings file azure account import /home/azure/

The last build has the application configured to run on port 80. change it in /home/root/apm/bin/www⁠.

The code has been updated to utilize an intermediate json file to maintain state of the vm.

The web application is node.js based and located in /home/root/apm Start the app by changing folder to /home/root/apm and running node bin/www

The application runs on port 3000
