⁠Introduction

These Docker images are package builders for Coin3D/coin. Assumed project source mounted on /import and a writable directory mounted on /export, the container execution will:

• configure the /import(ed) project source
• build all the binaries
• execute tests
• create packages for runtime, development and documentation components
• copy the produced packages on the /export directory

The kind of package produced is depending from the existing tag:

• ggabbiani/coin:debian will produce debian packages for Debian 9
• ggabbiani/coin:fedora will produce RPMs for Fedora 28
• ggabbiani/coin:ubuntu will produce debian packages for Ubuntu 18.04

⁠Usage

Just run a container with no parameters and mounting two volumes

/import [ro] --> project source repository (as pulled from BitBucket)

/export [rw] --> the artifact directory where to store the produced rpms

⁠Example for Debian 9

docker run -v /path/to/project:/import:ro -v /path/to/work/directory:/export -it --rm ggabbiani/coin:debian

⁠Example for Fedora 28

docker run -v /path/to/project:/import:ro -v /path/to/work/directory:/export -it --rm ggabbiani/coin:fedora

⁠Example for Ubuntu 18.04

docker run -v /path/to/project:/import:ro -v /path/to/work/directory:/export -it --rm ggabbiani/coin:ubuntu
