Starting core-gui from macOS:

  • Enable network connections in XQuartz preferences and restart it.
  • Optionally enable Indirect GLX support: defaults write org.macosforge.xquartz.X11 enable_iglx -bool true

Finally, start the following script or wrap it in an Automator application.
