⁠Docker RUST nightly

This image has a single tag, nightly, which is updated every week to match the current Rust nightly. It is configured identically to that of the latest tag of the official image, except that the nightly toolchain is selected via rustup.

⁠Install

docker pull giansalex/rust:nightly

Create Dockerfile

FROM giansalex/rust:nightly

WORKDIR /usr/src/myapp
COPY . .

RUN cargo install

CMD ["myapp"]

Then, build and run the Docker image:

$ docker build -t my-rust-app .
$ docker run -it --rm --name my-running-app my-rust-app
