$ docker run -d -p 80:80 -p 443:443 gilangvperdana/ssl:tag
for nginx tag:
Deploy image first then go inside to the container:
$ docker exec -it container_id bash
$ certbot --nginx -d domain.com -d www.domain.com
for apache2 tag:
Deploy image first then go inside to the container:
$ docker exec -it container_id bash
$ certbot --apache
#container_id can be seen from $ docker ps
HTML is on /var/www/html/
you can run your image first then copy your HTML to WOKDIR:
$ docker cp ./ container_id:/var/www/html/
#before overwriting the new html, make sure you have removed the default index.html created by nginx by going into the container and deleting the default index.html.
How to get into the active container:
$ docker exec -it container_id bash
How to delete index.html default:
make sure you are logged into the active nginx+ssl container.
$ rm /var/www/html/index.nginx-debian.html
#container_id can be seen from $ docker ps
HTML is on /var/www/html/
