gmod/wormbase-jbrowse repository overview

This repo is the JBrowse implementation that is used by WormBase. The configuration data are in GitHub:

where releases are in branches like jbrowse-### (note that the master branch isn't used for anything in this repo). The Dockerfile for this implementation is also in this repo, for example at

⁠Running this yourself

If you would like to run your own WormBase JBrowse, you can do so, with the caveat that some links may not work, as there are many relative URLs in this instance of JBrowse. To run it, just do this:

  $ docker pull gmod/wormbase-jbrowse:WS279              #or appropriate tag name
  $ docker run -d -p 8080:80 gmod/wormbase-jbrowse:WS279

and then navigate to http://localhost:8080/tools/genome/jbrowse-simple⁠

(note that the path to JBrowse here mimics the path at wormbase.org.) If this is running on a server rather than your computer, replace "localhost" with the IP address or domain name of the server.
