⁠GoodSender MCP Server

Official MCP server for GoodSender — a free, consent-based emailing service. It lets AI agents send real emails on your behalf while respecting recipient consent and keeping your data local.

⁠Features

• 🛡️ Local server — email contents, custom templates, recipient groups, and sender identities are stored only on your machine.
• ✉️ Send emails in plain text, HTML, or Markdown to one or more recipients.
• ✅ Send consentless transactional emails using built-in templates (OTP, MFA, order completion, etc.).
• 🤝 Automatic consent handling — recipients added via MCP receive a consent email, and outgoing emails are queued locally until consent is granted.
• 📝 Create, edit, and store custom templates with dynamic variables and interactive previews; send test emails to verify rendering.
• 👥 Organize recipients into groups and reference them by name.
• 🏷️ Manage sender identities (the From: header) and reference them by name.
• 📊 Monitor email health metrics.

⁠Other install options

• MCP Bundle (.mcpb, easiest): download goodsender.mcpb from the latest GitHub release and double-click it to install into a supporting AI client (e.g. Claude Desktop).
• Manual binary + JSON config: download binaries.zip from the latest release and point your client's MCP config at the platform binary.

⁠Configuration

Telemetry (enabled by default) covers aggregate signals only — tool names, call counts, latency, and error rates. Email bodies, recipient addresses, and template contents are not collected.
