Apache's htpasswd alone in a ~1.4 MB scratch image, built from each new httpd release

Apache's htpasswd utility on its own, for generating and managing basic-auth password files without installing Apache. It is compiled from the official httpd source with a statically linked htpasswd, stripped, and copied into a scratch image of about 1.4 MB. The entrypoint is htpasswd, for example docker run --rm grepular/htpasswd -Bbn user password.
A daily job checks for new Apache httpd 2.4 releases and builds a new image for each one. Pin to an exact version such as 2.4.69, or follow 2.4, 2 or latest.
