Browser-based Remote Ops control surface for trusted Guida nodes.
303
Guida Control is a browser-based Remote Ops control surface for trusted Guida nodes.
It can register Guida Complete and Guida Node installations, monitor Remote Ops health, guide Nodes readiness, perform installed-build smoke checks, inspect workspace/browser state, and proxy selected Remote View/control sessions through the Control server.
Guida Control is alpha software. It is intended for trusted operator networks such as loopback, NetBird, private VPNs, firewalled LANs, or deployments fronted by an operator-managed reverse proxy.
Guida Control does not currently provide a built-in authentication layer. Secure the channel before exposing it beyond trusted machines.
docker run --rm `
-p 127.0.0.1:9632:9632 `
-v guida-control-data:/app/data `
guidaapp/guida-control:<tag>
Then open:
http://127.0.0.1:9632
For Docker Compose deployments, keep the SQLite data directory on a persistent volume and expose the service only on a trusted interface or private network.
From a checkout of this repository, validate a published image before using it for operator work:
npm ci
npm run release:gate -- --pull --image guidaapp/guida-control:<tag>
The release gate checks Docker labels, /app/LICENSE.md, default container
startup, /health, the browser UI root, Control diagnostics, node-registry
status, writable /app/data paths, and the safe no-target smoke-check posture.
It does not require Guida Complete or Guida Node to be running, and it does not
start crawlers, workers, recovery, Remote View sessions, exports, deliveries, or
workspace writes.
GUIDA_CONTROL_HOST: bind address, default 0.0.0.0 in the container.GUIDA_CONTROL_PORT: HTTP port, default 9632.GUIDA_CONTROL_REMOTE_CONTROL: set to 1 to enable mutating control calls.GUIDA_CONTROL_HISTORY_DB: SQLite database path, default /app/data/control.db in the container.GUIDA_CONTROL_RESULT_EXPORTS_DIR: export artifact path, default /app/data/artifacts/result-exports in the container.GUIDA_CONTROL_RESULT_DELIVERIES_DIR: delivery artifact path, default /app/data/artifacts/result-deliveries in the container.GUIDA_CONTROL_CONFIG: optional first-run node bootstrap JSON path.Guida Control is proprietary software for now. The current public Docker image is provided so interested users can try and operate Guida Control while the long-term licensing model is still being worked out.
There are plans to open-source Guida Control in the future, but the specific license, scope, and timing have not been finalized yet. Until that happens, public Docker image availability is not an open-source license and does not grant permission to copy, modify, redistribute, sublicense, sell, host, or create derivative works except under separate written permission or a separate agreement with Andrea Mancuso.
Guida Control and its container images are provided as-is, without warranty.
See /app/LICENSE.md inside the container image for the full license notice.
