guignon/brapi repository overview

The BrAPI container is based on a* drupal:xxx-fpm-xxx* image. It provides a pre-installed and pre-configured Drupal instance with extensions. It requires an external PostgreSQL database for pre-installation which can be set using environment variables POSTGRES_HOST (DB host), POSTGRES_PORT (DB port), POSTGRES_USER (DB user), POSTGRES_PASSWORD (DB user password) and POSTGRES_DRUPAL_DB (database name to use). The initialization script will create the database (the account requires the appropriate permissions). It is intended to be used within BrAPIMapper (docker compose file) available at https://github.com/plantbreeding/BrAPIMapper .

Environment variables:

  • DRUPAL_USER: Drupal admin account name (default: "brapi")
  • DRUPAL_PASSWORD: Drupal admin account password (default: "Br4P!_D0cker")
  • DRUPAL_TRUSTED_HOST: Drupal trusted host setting (no default). This should be set on production sites to a regex that would match the exposed server name. For instance, if the - BrAPI service is available from "brapi.org", "service.brapi.org" and "www.brapi.org", you could use the value "(.+.)?brapi.org". You can specify multiple regex by quoting them like this: "'regex1','regex2',".
  • DRUPAL_AUTO_UPDATE: if set to 1, Drupal core and its modules will be automatically updated each time the docker is started.
