gunet/simple-ldap repository overview

A simple LDAP Docker container based on the bitnami/openldap⁠ image.

Part of the GUNet simpleidentity suite (includes a CAS SSO server and several SSO protocol testers)

Exposes ports 1389 and 1636

Relevant environment variables:

• LDAP_ROOT=dc=gunet,dc=gr
• LDAP_ADMIN_USERNAME=admin (DN: cn=admin,${LDAP_ROOT})
• LDAP_ADMIN_PASSWORD=admin
• LDAP_EXTRA_SCHEMAS=cosine,inetorgperson,nis

How to include in a docker-compose.yaml (in this case we also expose a port, if you need the LDAP container only for other containers that is not needed):

  ldap:
    image: gunet/simple-ldap
    restart: unless-stopped
    ports:
      - ${LDAP_PORT:-389}:1389

Testing users (the password is the same as the username):
